Environmental Compliance Manager - Multi-Disciplinary Permitting

Environmental Protection Services (EPS) seeks an experienced Environmental Compliance Manager to lead multi-disciplinary environmental permitting and compliance programs.
Responsibilities include:
Ensuring client compliance with stormwater (SWPPP, NDEP CGP), air quality (NDEP), and waterways (Army Corps of Engineers) regulations.
Managing a team of environmental specialists and overseeing site inspections.
Navigating complex permitting processes with regulatory agencies.
Developing and managing SWPPP documents and NDEP CGP compliance.
Obtaining and ensuring compliance with air quality permits from NDEP.
Obtaining and ensuring compliance with waterways permits from the Army Corps of Engineers.
Providing team leadership and management.
Conducting and overseeing client site inspections and compliance monitoring.
Managing regulatory compliance and reporting for clients.
Overseeing dust control measures for clients.
Developing and delivering training to clients and the team.
Maintaining thorough documentation and record-keeping.
Facilitating effective communication and collaboration with clients and regulatory agencies.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years expert-level experience in multi-disciplinary environmental compliance with a strong emphasis on NDEP CGP, air quality permitting (NDEP), and waterways permitting (Army Corps of Engineers).
Extensive experience writing and managing SWPPP documents and obtaining NDEP stormwater permits.
Expert understanding of erosion and sediment control and BMPs compliant with NDEP standards.
Significant experience creating and editing BMP plans tailored to client needs and NDEP CGP requirements.
Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations in Nevada, with a strong focus on NDEP regulations for stormwater, air quality, and waterways.
Proven expertise in obtaining and managing NDEP air quality permits.
Substantial experience with Army Corps of Engineers waterways permits and understanding of overlapping NDEP regulations.
Thorough understanding of Nevada dust control regulations and best practices, particularly related to NDEP requirements.
Required Certifications/Qualifications: Minimum of one of the following: CPESC, CESSWI, CPSWQ, CPMSM, CPISM, CPWPC, NGICP, QSM, CESCP, CSM, CPSWI, QPSWPPP, QCIS, QSP, and QSD.
Expert-level proficiency in Adobe/Bluebeam and Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and deadlines.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Significant supervisory experience is a strong requirement.
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
Extensive experience working directly with NDEP and the Army Corps of Engineers.
Experience with GIS software and environmental data management systems.
Specific experience in other environmental compliance areas relevant to SWPPP.
