Our company is looking for a residential superintendent that is knowledgeable, experienced, with excellent leadership skills. The role of Superintendent will be to lead a team through all phases of construction. We want a candidate who has extensive experience in new construction & remodels in high-end custom home building.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct day-to-day on-site supervision of field labor & subcontractors for all phases of construction
Facilitate the construction of project on-site from beginning to completion
Communicates with the Project Management team in the coordination and responsibility of the total
construction effort in accordance with budget, quality, and schedule.
Review and understand all project plans & specifications.
Schedule all involved subcontractors for each phase of development and construction.
Approves work being performed by subcontractors and handle any related issues.
Maintains and promotes a safe work site by implementing safety requirements and good housekeeping regulations,
enforcing safe work habits, observing OSHA requirements.
Monitors job site cleanliness and hold subcontractors responsible for daily clean-up.
Ensures all company employees and contractors are adhering to the company safety policy.
Develops and maintains positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and other employees.
Displays strong written and oral communication skills and employs effective listening skills.
Coordinates and supervises all construction activities.
Prepares, schedules, and supervises the completion of a final punch list.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 10 years construction experience
Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience
Excellent attention to detail with emphasis placed on quality.
OSHA 30 Certified
Valid State-issued driver’s license
