We are looking for a hardworking, motivated apprentice and journeyman carpenters to join our team in the Tahoe, CA area. If hired, you will be an integral part in helping support our customers with their construction projects. We believe the key is hiring, training, and helping workers grow in the trades and are passionate about helping our construction workers.
Carpenters do a variety of different jobs, but some of their duties might include:
· Wood framing; blocking, rafters, partitions, joists, and stud work.
· Finish carpentry; crown molding, base and case, hang doors, install cabinets, shelving, drywall and miscellaneous punch and pickup work.
· Reading blueprints, and ability to work to specifications prepared by other construction professionals, architects and building code recommendations.
Laborers do a variety of different jobs, but some of their duties might include:
· Cleaning and preparing construction sites
· Loading and unloading materials and equipment
· Building and taking down scaffolding and temporary structures
· Digging trenches, compacting earth and backfilling holes
· Following instructions from supervisors and implementing construction plans
· Assisting skilled tradespeople in their duties
Qualifications:
· 1 year experience as a construction laborer
· Able to lift up to 50lbs safely
· Reliable transportation
