I am looking to hire a MID-SENIOR experienced, field geologist for investigation of contiguous claims in Plumas County, California. The location is in the Sierra between Johnstown in the East and Gibsonville in the west along the Johnsville - McCrea Forest Service Road.
Applicant should be well versed in historical research of old gold mining districts and statistical understanding of reports and papers filed with the USGS, Bancroft Library et al by field geologists.
Scope of work includes assessment of claims, reading an underground drift, and both rock and mineral surface analysis. These claims are not permitted yet. We plan to use the applicant's assessment in the application process.
