in Incline Village, NV and Truckee, CA our team is in search of a self-motivated and team organized general manager with impeccable attention to detail and a high level of customer service.

The general manager will help facilitate infrastructure to help achieve the company’s long-term vision which includes providing social benefits to our community as well as sustaining profitability. The general manager and the entire team play a key role to ensure quality service and providing the best environment for our members and guests to work out and rock climb in a full functioning facility.

The general manager must possess great leadership, a passion for customer service, a creative mind, a high level of professionalism, dependable, and always engaging in an upbeat positive attitude.

Essential Functions

Defining HAF’s brand and operating standards and building viable business systems to maintain a high value of standards

Performing and overseeing personnel management functions including, hiring, training, promoting, disciplining, terminating, evaluating performances, and providing feedback

Mentor Department leaders to maintain professional development and growth of all teams

Assist departments in managing schedules, adherence to payroll budgets and events

Inventory, adhering to monthly ordering, timeline and budgets

Ensure a high level of customer service

With owner partnership support ancillary department sales

Supervise and assist with goals and projections

Payroll and timeclock management

Ensure the facilities are adhering to Risk Management, Loss Procedures and Safety Protocols

Develop and delegate recommended improvements and operating standards of facility and cleanliness of facilities

Help facilitate all other functions of operations as delegated by owners

Must be able to work flexible scheduled dependent on the needs of the business

Must be able and willing to rock climb in order to manage the rock climbing department and safety protocols of the climbing gyms

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must have leadership ability as a general manager with 3-5 years of management experience

Strong written and verbal skills

Excellent Customer Service experience

Effective time management skills

Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Rock climbing experience a must - Must be able to pass a lead climbing belay test

Ability to lift 50 pounds

CPR/First Aid Required, CWI, AMGA or similar certifications highly desired

Additional general manager responsibilities may be assigned as necessary to ensure all proper operations of the facility are met.

Job Type – Full-Time, with flexible availability across weekdays, weekends, and holidays to best serve our members and community.

Pay: $90,000-100,000 Annually DOE

Work Location: Incline Village NV and Truckee, CA
