Gratitudes is a small, family run, female owned retail furniture/home decor/gift store fortunate enough to be located in the heart of Historic Downtown Truckee. We specialize in unique gifts, home décor, beautiful custom furniture and interior design by our owners, Julie & Sue.
We are looking for someone who would benefit from a consistent part-time position with an option of health benefits. Health benefits are offered with employer (Gratitudes) paying a portion of the monthly health insurance expense. Hourly compensation is based on a specific skill-set as it pertains to Gratitudes' needs. In additional to the hourly compensation, there is commission on all furniture sales.
We would love to hire someone who has experience in furniture sales and/or the home decor industry, but this is NOT a must. Experience in the retail environment and customer service is our focus. An interest in home décor is a benefit, as you will be trained on that aspect of what Gratitudes does.
The perfect candidate must be able to:
Be on their feet for the duration of their 7-8 hour shift
Unpack merchandise & lift items overhead
Take care of light cleaning, vacuuming & dusting
Be available on the weekends We are thoughtful about working around each person's reasonable family needs Shifts could be scheduled any day of the week as we are open 7 days a week.
Have a valid driver's license and one's own vehicle to travel to and from work
Maintain a professional appearance
Show exceptional customer service to our loyal & new customers
Be willing to learn the home decor industry as it pertains to Gratitudes
