Bike Mechanic position available at Pine Nut Cycle Cafe.
Can start as early as now and the position will run through November.
We are hiring a full time bike mechanic to join our team of fun and outdoor oriented employees. Our family friendly shop is run by employees that work as a team to help one another making the shop thrive. Our bike mechanics work in an open air customer facing setting that requires both excellent repair skills and knowledge, as well as the ability to talk to customers to help guide them through the repair process. Our goal is making it simple and easy for customers to understand and getting their bike fixed and rolling again. We service and work on a wide range of bike types and brands. Our shop is located with direct trail access to some of the best mountain bike trails in South Lake Tahoe all employees are encouraged to get out and ride and live a healthy outdoor lifestyle.
You must know your way around a bike well; full builds, tune ups, brake bleeds, wheel truing etc.
Responsibilities include.
Maintaining rental fleet
Assembling full build mountain bikes
Handling customer bike repairs
Ordering Parts
Mountain Bike rentals
Also, when busy helping with family fun ebike rentals
Answering phone
Be knowledgable about our inventory and enjoy selling bikes.
Great customer service and positive attitude are a must.
Pine Nut is a fun high paced atmosphere, we all have a work hard play hard mentality. We like to enjoy our time at work while being productive at the same time.
$22-$25 and hour based on experience plus volume commission and bonuses.
