Local Contractor seeking assistant for project coordination.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Desire for project management, organization, and the ability to problem solve.
Responsibilities:
Assist in review of schedules, coordinate with consultants, suppliers, and trades.
Produce and deliver purchases orders, proposals, submittals, and similar documents.
Assist in obtaining permits.
Provides support in the planning, management direction, project completion, client satisfaction, and of assigned projects.
As required, attend on-site construction meetings for oversight during mobilization, site preparation, construction, commissioning and occupancy.
Qualifications:
Strong experience with Microsoft Office.
Strong communication skills.
Experience or desire for project management.
Experience with reviewing design document submittals, reviewing cost and schedule estimates, collecting, preparing, and reporting programmatic information.
Ability to analyze all relevant project-related information and communicate project status and major issues in writing or verbally.
Job Type: Part time, 15-30 hrs/week. Agreed schedule must be set for weekly consistency. Partial remote work possible after onboarding.
