Stodtmeister Iron is looking for a motivated individual to join our team that is a driving force! We have been in business since 1977 and are continuing to grow. We fabricate and install ornamental and structural iron.
General Responsibilities:
Lead a team of Installers for structural and ornamental iron products such as guardrail, handrail, stairs and beams
Lead team on residential and construction sites
Deliver exceptional customer experience at each installation you are working on
Driving Lean and 5S culture to improve processes
Set the standard for safety and performance
Requirements:
Leadership Experience (3 years+ )
Structural Steel install experience (3 years+ Preferred)
FCAW (Flux core) and SMAW (Stick) Welding experience preferably D1.1 knowledge or experience
GTAW (TIG) welding knowledge or experience
Ability to work outdoors
Organized, process focused and dedicated
Is mechanically adept and knows how to safely use tools and equipment
Can read plans & blueprints
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work, including but not limited to peers and customers
Valid Driver’s License as worker will need to be at multiple sites a day
Regular, reliable, and predictable performance required
Strong focus on attention to detail
Some heavy lifting (75lb+)
Must pass criminal background screening
Shift hours:
4 x 10’s Monday – Thursday 6:00am - 4:30pm typically with overtime
