We are a growing company looking to fill the following position:

Ornamental Steel Project Manager

A strong candidate will have the ability to manage multiple projects deadlines and financial metrics. This position includes all types of ornamental work, but will be primarily related to steel stair structures and railings. This team member will possess a solid knowledge of metal fabrication, design principles and construction scheduling. Ability to draw in AutoCAD is required.

An Ornamental Steel Project Manager must possess the technical skills required to prepare effective solutions to meet the clients’ needs. They must also possess the internal skills needed to successfully work with their team. The following are the desired knowledge, skills and abilities:

- Participate in the teams QA/QC process to ensure high quality finished products

- Participate in team planning meetings to efficiently execute financial and technical goals

- Direct the project team to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget

- Challenge the team to develop innovative alternative solutions to meet the clients’ needs

- Ability to build trust, delegate work and lead their team on project objectives

- Ability to monitor client satisfaction and maintain strong client relationships

- Work closely with team leader and ownership to communicate project progress

- Ability to present information and respond to questions from project owners/ customers, contractors and Reno Tahoe Steel staff.

- Ability to prepare estimates, write proposals and perform contract management

- Strong technical engineering experience

- Preferred experience in wood and light gauge steel

- B.S. in Engineering is preferred

- Experience with Bluebeam, Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Suite. Project scheduling software experience a plus

Compensation range is $80,000 to $120,000 and will depend on experience
