We are a family-owned and operated business with our fishing charter business being established in 1953.
We are looking for a reliable, dedicated self-starter with a creative mindset and excellent communication skills to take on aspects of marketing for our businesses along with being the primary contact for our customers for our Tahoe Star Private Yacht Charters. Must be able to work independently to create new ideas and take the initiative to put them into play.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies in all Shearer Family Businesses' retail and group sales areas.
- Identify new business opportunities and market trends
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Establish and Execute Routine Concierge, Hotel, and Business Runs
- Cross-business promotion opportunities
- Be responsible for promotional material/print material
- Work with our social media manager when needed to assist in providing content/ideas.
Required Knowledge and Abilities:
- Proven experience in marketing sales
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on exceeding goals
- Ability to use Microsoft Office programs efficiently
- Capacity to work as a team member or alone to achieve expected results
- Prefer to have some experience in some of these softwares: Google Analytics, Google Work Space and Costant Contact. But definitely a willingness to proactively learn these.
We are looking to fill this position initially on a part-time basis with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position; however, we are willing to discuss other job opportunities we have to make this a full-time position while taking on responsibilities of coordinating our Tahoe Star Charters reservations and catering options for customers. For the right fit, we may also be able to provide a hybrid work option.
