Job Title: Stucco Laborer
Location: Reno, NV 89511 / Mount Rose
Job Type: Full-Time (ranges 9:30am – 5:30pm)
Compensation: $18 per hour
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Stucco Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of experience in stucco and finishing or various construction tasks. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment on construction sites. As a Laborer, you will play a crucial role in building and renovating structures while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
Assist in the renovation and installation of various structures, including walls, ceilings, and floors.
Perform metal stud framing to support drywall installations.
Utilize power tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks.
Collaborate with carpenters and other skilled tradespeople to complete projects on time.
Operate heavy equipment as needed for site preparation and material handling.
Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements and specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety on the construction site.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
Previous experience in construction or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with stucco application techniques is a plus.
Experience with heavy equipment operation is advantageous.
Ability to read schematics and blueprints is beneficial for understanding project layouts.
Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as required.
A willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to construction tasks is essential.
