Maintenance Response Team is a leading Maintenance company committed to providing exceptional service for Multi-Unit, Apartment, HOA and Commercial Properties. We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and help us ensure our clients' needs are met.
Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair of multiple citywide properties. This includes troubleshooting issues, performing repairs / maintenance, and ensuring work orders are completed in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete work orders and service requests promptly and efficiently under the direction of the Maintenance Division Manager.
Perform routine maintenance on apartment / condo communities to include carpentry, flooring, painting, plumbing, electrical, and appliance systems.
Repair and maintain common areas, including lighting, flooring, doors, locks, and fixtures.
Conduct regular inspections of property grounds, buildings, and equipment.
Assist with unit turnovers, including painting, cleaning, and basic repairs.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and inventory of supplies.
Qualifications:
Must have a positive attitude, we are seeking polite, friendly, clean-cut individuals. This is a client first, client facing position.
Must be physically fit, this is a fast paced, physically demanding position.
This is considered a skilled position. Previous trade experience is required. Work will consist of work that requires trade skills and problem solving. This position is beyond a typical onsite tech that changes an occasional light bulb. Position requires knowledge / experience in construction, drywall, texturing, electrical, plumbing etc.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
1–3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in property management or residential housing. Candidates with more experience are highly encouraged to apply and will have the potential to earn production bonuses.
Working knowledge of Carpentry, flooring, painting, electrical, plumbing, and appliance install / repair.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Basic computer or mobile device skills (for work order systems).
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
OSHA 10 Card (if you do not have one, MRT will pay for your training)
