Sierra Tops is looking for a hard-working individual to join our staff! We are a small business that has been in Sparks NV for 50+ years. We’re looking to add someone that has a can-do attitude and is willing to help out where ever is needed. Also, someone who has good communication skills and is friendly and knowledgeable. Open position for installation worker/shop helper. Offering a full-time position. We are open Mon-Fri 9:00AM-5:00PM. Must have a valid driver’s license and own transportation for work.
Pay: $13-$15/hour DOE
POSITION SUMMARY: This position performs shell installations and small repairs on shells. This position will require you to be able to lift at least 50 pounds on occasion and be able to get in to the back of trucks or underneath to wire a shell. Hand tool experience is a necessity and having your own tools is a bonus but not required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & BASIC DUTIES:
1. Shell, Tonneau cover installations
2. Window/Door replacement, Prop rod replacement
3. Sealing leaks from shells/windows
4. Washing/Cleaning shells
5. Bed rugs, Bed slides, Carpet kits
6. Moving trucks into bay, Operating a forklift
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
Ability to show up on time everyday and rarely call in
Ability to operate various sized vehicles and forklift
Ability to lift and easily handle 50lbs or more
Ability to walk at a steady pace for up to eight hours. Minimal lifting, bending, or twisting required.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
Experience preferred but not required.
