As the Plant Recruiting Specialist, you will be responsible for staffing and recruiting for Pacific Cheese's Reno plant with a primary focus on Spanish speaking candidates in the Production and Sanitation departments. You will be responsible for attracting candidates using various sources, such as social media networks, employee referrals, sourcing, job fairs and other techniques. In addition to interviewing, screening, and initiating the onboarding process you will also be responsible for converting hiring and job specific documents from English to Spanish for the use of new employees.
Job Summary:
-Responsible for recruiting for open positions. Posts job openings, pre-screens applicants, arranges interviews, checks employment references, initiates background screening, coordinates drug tests and schedule new employee orientations.
-Assists Human Resources Generalist in proactively managing positive employee relations through the implementation, monitoring and consistent application of company policies and procedures.
-Coordinate with Spanish-speaking applicants to schedule meetings/calls
-Interview candidates for associate positions
-Interpret/translate during the meetings/interviews
-Translate documents from English to Spanish and Spanish to English
Requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Excellent employee relations, teamwork and interpersonal skills; Must maintain the strictest confidentiality of employee records and information; Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision and have the ability to exercise sound independent judgment and must be Computer literate in MS Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and HRIS software.
