A caregiver is needed to offer support and companionship to my mother-in-law with a disability in Cold Springs, NV. (This is typically a 30-35 min drive from Reno).
About the Role:
This position involves offering personalized care and assistance to help maintain my mother-in-law's independence and quality of life.
Responsibilities:
Daily support such as help with personal care tasks (e.g., diaper changes, hygiene, dressing, sponge baths), light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders (only if working a long weekend)
Companionship through engaging conversation and emotional support to promote well-being.
Safety monitoring to ensure a safe and comfortable environment and reporting any changes in health or behavior.
Occasional overnight care and supervision on long weekends, with dedicated sleeping arrangements provided.
Schedule:
Part-time, 2 hours per Wednesday, Friday and Saturday between 12-4pm.
Occasional long weekend over-nighters as needed.
Scheduling flexibility is offered to find the best fit.
Qualifications:
Previous caregiving experience is preferred.
