Job Summary
This role involves overseeing the thorough planning and execution of group bookings at the resort. Group Sales Managers will refer contracted groups to the Groups Coordinator for detailed planning of the group’s upcoming stay. The coordinator will act as a liaison between the groups and all operational departments at the resort, serving as their advocate. Working closely with the customer planner/coordinator, the Groups Coordinator will monitor all aspects of the group's stay to ensure the resort meets performance expectations and the customer's event goals are achieved.

Basic Qualifications

Available to perform many different tasks within the resort during each shift
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Ability to learn quickly
Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
Strong administrative skills
High attention to detail
Excellent communication skills both written and spoken - must be comfortable talking to and building relationships with customers on the phone and in person
Average to above average computer and typing skills required
Excellent spoken and written English skills required.
Troubleshooting customer issues; problem solving ability

Ability to build relationships
Ability to walk up to 3 miles around the property per day in variable conditions including ice and snow in winter and climbing and descending stairs
Ability to lift and carry loads of up to 30lbs
Job Responsibilities
Adding, maintaining and communicating all detail regarding events for groups
Working with group lodging to fill the room block
Working with registrations and the set up and communication from this system to customers and internally
Ensuring 100% accuracy of group schedules and making and communicating on-site changes
Getting AV requirements, then ensuring accuracy of setup, testing and demonstration to customers
Inspecting lodging and meeting spaces before, during and after group booking
Assisting with group check ins
Willingness to cross train and work other roles during quiet times
Job Qualifications
Education: Ongoing study in Hospitality preferred.
Experience: Minimum one-year hospitality (including restaurant) or group events experience preferred.
Experience: Previous guest service experience preferred
US work authorization
Pay Scale
$20.00 - 23.00 per hour
