Come join our professional and creative culinary team this Summer in the beautiful setting of Caples Lake!

We are seeking talented, detail-oriented, and passionate individuals with a strong work ethic and can-do attitude to join our culinary team at Caples Lake Resort. We are a small team looking for positive, constructive, and solution-oriented individuals who are happy to do whatever it takes to ensure an amazing experience for our guests.

This position is for the Summer of 2024 from May 20th to October 15th with the possibility of Winter employment beginning in the end of November.

Reduced Cost Housing is available.

Job Qualifications

Experience/ Knowledge:

Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills.

Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.

Previous prep or line cook experience. (we are open to training for the right individuals with limited experience)

Skills/Aptitudes:

Must possess a positive, "can do" attitude

Professional communication skills are required.

Ability to take direction.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.

Must have problem-solving abilities, be self-motivated, and organized.

Commitment to quality service, and food and beverage knowledge.

Food Handlers permit required.

Must be able to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Must be able to speak, read, and understand basic cooking directions.
