Logistics Associate

Description We are on the hunt for a diligent Logistics Associate to join our team in the Transport industry, based in Reno, Nevada. In this role, you will be entrusted with various administrative tasks, including document scanning, filing, and light data entry. You will also be expected to provide support for the sales floor through phone and email communications. This position offers a long term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Handle administrative tasks such as filing and scanning documents efficiently Undertake light data entry tasks with attention to detail Respond promptly to phone calls and emails, providing high-quality support Assist the sales floor as required, employing strong thinking and people skills Maintain a fast-paced work environment, ensuring smooth operations Requirements Proficient in document scanning processes and techniques. Skilled in maintaining organized and efficient filing systems. Understanding of transport industry regulations and standards. Ability to effectively coordinate and track shipments. Experience in managing inventory and supply chain procedures. Strong analytical abilities for optimizing logistics operations. Excellent communication skills for liaising with various stakeholders. Proven ability to handle stressful situations and tight deadlines. Proficient with logistics software and other related technology. Demonstrated ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Knowledge of safety procedures within the transport industry.
