Description Robert Half is seeking a Fiscal Manager for a non-profit organization in South Reno! This is a temporary to permanent role that involves a broad range of fiscal operations, the key responsibilities include:
Generating and delivering comprehensive monthly fiscal reports on all program budgets.
Serving as the go-to person for any financial inquiries, providing clarification on technical issues and ensuring financial compliance with funding sources.
Assisting program staff with grant and contract development and ensuring compliance.
Reconciling bank statements, providing the Executive Director with reconciliation reports, finalizing the month-end processes, and overseeing daily cash management.
Scrutinizing and reviewing fund balances to ensure all expenditures stay within budget and are justified.
Evaluating the general ledger reconciliation for its accuracy and auditing norms.
Creating, monitoring and analyzing budgets and budget activities for the organization's various programs.
Ensuring compliance with, and timely reporting of financial-related grant or contract requirements as per relevant federal or state regulations.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field;
3-5 years of progressively responsible financial management experience
Experience in the non-profit sector is highly desirable.
