Description Katie Weigel with Robert Half Finance and Accounting is recruiting to fill a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis role for a fantastic, well respected, long time Reno based company. This is a newly created role to accommodate their continuing growth and expanding investor reporting. This new role will be responsible for developing and executing all key reporting, budgeting, and forecasting of the corporate entity. Reporting to the EVP Finance, this role will: Develop and enhance data, systems, and procedures that allow for accurate and timely reporting of operational results Generate and maintain financial models aggregating revenue forecasts from all entities Collaborate with department leaders to build annual budgets, monitor and control costs, and revise rolling forecasts throughout the year Manage the monthly, quarterly, annual forecasting, and variance analysis processes to ensure accurate financial projections Lead internal reviews of corporate performance Partner closely with internal C level staff regularly to communicate variances and improve forecasts Work closely with external stakeholders (including – banks, equity partners, etc.) to be a point of contact for all questions and requests Review and comply with partnership documentation Present financial results and analyses, as well as provide recommendations to management related to short and long-term financial objectives and policies Develop and maintain comprehensive financial dashboards and reports to monitor business performanceRequirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial modeling Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Excel, ERP systems, and financial planning software Strong leadership and team management skills Ability to work effectively with teams and individuals across the countryThe company offers a very strong compensation and benefits package including a bonus of 20% for this role. Requirements Candidate should have a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in the field of Financial Planning & Analysis, a BS Degree is Finance/Econ/Accounting is required, an MBA or additional certification highly desirable. Proficiency in Budget Processes is required. Ability to effectively communicate and interact with C-Suite level executives. Strong foundation in Finance and Corporate Financial Planning is expected. Experience in Long-range financial planning is essential. Comfortable in creating and delivering Financial presentations at all levels.
