Location: Downtown, Tahoe City
Hours: Part-time (3-5 hours per week)
Compensation: Subsidized accommodation in either:
3-bedroom A-Frame overlooking Tahoe City Golf Course, or
Room in the Dorm Accommodation being managed
Position Overview
We are seeking a responsible and reliable individual to serve as the Caretaker and Residence Manager for our property in Tahoe City. This part-time role is ideal for someone who values living in a beautiful Lake Tahoe setting and can provide consistent property oversight and tenant support. Successful applicant will live onsite.
Key Responsibilities
-Screen and process applications for dorm rooms/beds
-Manage tenant move-in and move-out procedures
-Be available to address tenant requests and concerns
-Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting
-Coordinate with vendors for repairs and services
-Manage property access for maintenance personnel and visitors
-Conduct regular property inspections
-Ensure common areas are maintained in good condition
-Report significant issues to property ownership
-Maintain clear communication with tenants and ownership
Qualifications
-Strong organizational and communication skills
-Basic maintenance and handyman abilities
-Responsible and dependable character
-Available to respond to tenant needs on a reasonable schedule
-Professional demeanor when dealing with tenants and service providers
-Previous property management experience preferred but not required
-Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
