Accounts Payable Clerk

Description Robert Half is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for our client in the Transportaion industry. The role involves handling various tasks related to account reconciliation, accounts payable, invoice processing, and data entry. This position presents an excellent opportunity for individuals adept at maintaining meticulous records and possessing a strong attention to detail.Responsibilities: Handling the processing of all accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Conducting account reconciliation tasks to maintain accurate financial records. Regularly performing check runs and ensuring all checks are issued correctly. Coding invoices with appropriate account information for accurate record keeping. Performing data entry tasks related to accounts payable and account reconciliation. Using Microsoft Excel to maintain and analyze financial data. Utilizing Sage Accounting Software to manage financial transactions and records. Ensuring all invoices are processed correctly and in a timely manner. Monitoring and managing customer credit accounts, including processing applications and handling inquiries. Taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments from customers.If interested please apply today and for immediate consideration call Keisha Lawrence at 775-313-0454Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar Proficient in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP) processes Experience with Check Runs and Coding Invoices Strong data entry skills Familiarity with Invoice Processing procedures Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience with Sage Accounting Software Excellent communication and organizational skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving capabilities Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
