Postal Carriers wanted for the transportation, sorting, and delivery of mail for the US Postal Service. Accomplished Carriers, LLC is a USPS Contract Delivery Service (CDS) provider looking for applicants for the contract term beginning May 2024, until September 30, 2025 (renewable for an additional 6 years’ term if desired).
Applicants must be 21 years or older, have a clean driving record, clean drug test, and clean background check.
The vehicle required is a newer SUV or Van or Pickup Truck with a camper shell that has a minimum of 150 cubic feet of usable load space for mail and parcels.
This position is designed for owner-operators with their own vehicle interested in contracting with the US Postal Service.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Sorting mail in the delivery sequence for mailboxes.
Loading mail and parcels in the delivery sequence into the delivery vehicle.
Delivering mail to customer boxes along an assigned mile line-of-travel.
Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items.
Other administrative duties are required.
Must have basic competence in speaking & understanding English.
Must have an email address and access to the internet.
Minimum Vehicle and Insurance Requirements:
One (1) dependable SUV or Van or Pickup Truck with a camper shell that provides at least 150 cubic feet of usable load space for mail and parcels.
The applicant is responsible for all the vehicle maintenance and vehicle insurance costs are covered by the company.
Work Schedule:
Monday thru Thursday's Government Holidays observed.
Estimated Hours: 9:30 am - 3:30 pm
(Hours will vary with the amount of mail each day and carrier efficiency)
Qualifications:
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license; able to lift 70 lbs. and work in winter conditions.
Compensation:
Salary: $32,000.00
Health/welfare, vacation and holiday pay are included in the salary.
