General Description:
A Delivery Driver will be responsible for driving a light vehicle, such as a box truck or van. A Delivery driver will deliver products to our clients and pick up and/or deliver items from vendors, off-campus venues, and other Culinary Academy of Las Vegas operations. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for filling and completing all orders on their routes, ensuring accuracy, timely delivery, and excellent customer service when delivering the product. The Delivery Driver will assist in other Food and Beverage operations as needed between routes. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of all vehicles.
Essential Functions:
Complete daily checklist when signing out company vehicles.
Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
Inspect vehicles daily to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition. Complete vehicle inspection report daily.
Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles.
Load and unload trucks, vans, or automobiles safely.
Ensure all orders are complete and correct as stated on Event orders and verify all orders by the manager on duty.
Present all items to the clients and ensure understanding of all special requests.
Have clients sign event orders.
Return Signed event orders to the manager on duty.
Read maps and follow written or verbal geographic directions.
Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to the manager on duty and inform clients of any delays.
Support the culinary staff during downtimes.
Report vehicle issues to management immediately
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent AND six (6) months to one (1) year of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Valid drivers license
SNHD Food Handlers Card
Must be able to show proof of insurability on vehicles

Knowledge of operating a light vehicle such as a truck or van. Knowledge includes words' meaning and spelling, composition rules, and grammar. Knowledge of the general Las Vegas and North Las Vegas areas; must be multi-task oriented, have a high level of professionalism, be calm, and be collected under pressure.
Skilled in organization & time management. Must possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Strong interpersonal and excellent customer service skills.
Ability to communicate and convey information effectively, persuasively, and accurately. Must be able to multi-task, maintain high professionalism, and remain calm under pressure. Ability to exercise judgment in evaluating situations and use independent judgment.
