Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Gate Operator Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with gate operators and access control systems and be capable of performing installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
Install, service, and troubleshoot gate operators and access control systems (LiftMaster, Max, HySecurity, and similar brands).
Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and communication issues in gate systems.
Perform preventative maintenance and ensure all systems operate safely and efficiently.
Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with automated gate operators (LiftMaster, Max, HySecurity, etc.).
Basic understanding of electrical and low-voltage systems.
Welding experience is a plus but not required.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
