A Day in the Life as a Facilities Engineer: You will oversee all ongoing and completion of activity at your assigned facility; maintain and adhere to SDMI’s policies and procedures. Duties may include but not limited to: Responsible for day to day maintenance and preventive maintenance functions of interior and exterior areas of buildings and property. Consists of all areas of maintenance: plumbing & monitor HVAC; electrical; painting and wallpaper; general carpentry including building and installing cabinets & casework; flooring (carpet, etc.); room remodeling; equipment installation and to repair all laundry & EVS equipment. Responsible for maintaining all exterior areas of the buildings including landscaping (mowing, trimming & irrigation), parking lot (painting curbs & striping), exterior lighting and exterior painting. Transportation of company owned equipment. May perform other job related duties as necessary for the efficient operation of SDMI.

You can expect to be scheduled Mondays-Fridays, 12pm-8:30pm, 2 Saturdays per month and on-call every 9 weeks for one week.

You are an ideal candidate if you…

- Have previous carpentry/maintenance experience

- Have previous electrical and plumbing experience

To ensure success in this role, you must…

- Be able to read, write and speak English

- Possess a valid Nevada driver’s license

- Possess valid vehicle registration while vehicle has to be reliable and auto insurance must be up to date

- Be able to travel to multiple facilities if/when needed

You can expect to earn an hourly rate of $20-$22 depending on experience
