Job Description:
As a Carpenter at UCP, you will play a crucial role in our construction projects. You will be responsible for various carpentry tasks, including but not limited to framing, installing fixtures, and finishing details. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, excellent carpentry skills, and a passion for creating high-quality structures.
Responsibilities:
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, and other construction materials.
Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and roofs, using precision tools.
Install doors, windows, and hardware.
Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or building plans.
Collaborate with other team members and contractors to ensure project success.
Maintain and repair existing structures as needed.
Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Troubleshoot and provide solutions for construction-related challenges.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Carpenter in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
Excellent attention to detail and precision.
Strong work ethic and reliability.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
