Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service and repair, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. This role requires a commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring that vehicles are maintained to the highest standards. We offer a strong weekly guaranty pay as well as commission .
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of vehicles, including oil changes, brake replacements, and tire rotations.
Diagnose automotive electrical systems and troubleshoot issues effectively.
Align wheels and ensure proper vehicle handling and safety.
Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for repairs.
Weld components as necessary for repairs or modifications.
Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their vehicle needs and repair options.
Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Experience
Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of automotive service procedures, including powertrain systems, electrical systems, and general maintenance practices.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers regarding their vehicle needs.
