Full Job Description:

The Personal Trainer and Sales Representative is a dual role focused on delivering exceptional fitness training and driving membership sales at our gym. This individual will be responsible for co-managing the execution of new member onboarding, providing personalized fitness and nutrition plans, and enhancing the overall member experience. This role requires a certified personal trainer with a passion for health and fitness, strong sales acumen, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Essential Functions:

Personal Training and Nutrition:

Develop and implement personalized fitness programs for clients based on their individual goals, fitness levels, and medical histories.

Provide comprehensive nutrition plans to support clients' fitness objectives and overall health.

Conduct fitness assessments and track clients' progress, adjusting programs as needed to ensure continued improvement.

Offer guidance on proper exercise techniques, injury prevention, and overall wellness.

Foster a motivating and supportive environment to help clients achieve their fitness goals.

Sales and Member Engagement:

Execute sales strategies to generate leads, close membership sales, and set appointments.

Maximize marketing efforts, enhance brand awareness, and implement promotions that increase gym traffic and membership sales.

Work closely with the local team to effectively communicate the unique value proposition of our gym compared to competitors.

Manage and track sales budgets; forecast and compile reporting metrics for various programs.

Develop a deep understanding of local lead generation initiatives and communicate corporate strategies to the local management team while maintaining brand compliance.

Execute event strategies, tactical plans, and manage projects from beginning to end, including all logistics, onsite execution, and post-event analysis.

Analyze performance of sales initiatives; develop strategies to measure and track effectiveness and implement improvements for underperforming campaigns and activities.

Primary Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Follow up on social media leads, nurture them to ensure they make their appointments, and sign up for the gym.

Manage the monitoring and analytics of sales results and create monthly reports.

Analyze, review, and report on the effectiveness of sales initiatives to maximize results.

Support the Member Services team by monitoring business review sites, engaging with members, and managing reputation during the sales phases.

Execute ground game strategies and monitor their effectiveness to drive and close leads.

Maintain customer satisfaction by fostering a positive gym community and providing excellent service.

Qualifications:

Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) from a recognized certification body (e.g., NASM, ACE, ISSA, etc.).

Proven experience in developing and implementing successful nutrition plans.

Strong sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Strong financial acumen with an ability to manage budgets and control costs.

Personal passion for health and fitness is a must.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
