Sew Yeah is Las Vegas' premier Quilting and Sewing store, featuring the industry's finest designer fabrics, sewing notions, patterns, and other essential quilting supplies.

Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented office manager to oversee administrative operations at our 3 retail stores. The office manager will play a crucial role in managing finances, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and supporting various administrative functions essential to the business's success. This position is a full time, in house position in Las Vegas.

Responsibilities:

1. Bookkeeping and Financial Management:

-Maintain accurate records of daily transactions using accounting software (QuickBooks Online).

-Prepare financial statements and reports for review by the owners.

-Monitor accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely collections and payments.

-Reconcile bank statements and oversee cash flow management.

2.Payroll Administration:

-Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees.

-Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and resolve any payroll discrepancies.

-Maintain employee records related to payroll and benefits.

3.Supply Management and Inventory Control:

-Monitor office supply levels and coordinate restocking of supplies.

-Place orders for office supplies and other necessary items.

4.Tax and Insurance Oversight:

-Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

-Coordinate with CPA during tax season.

-Regular checks on insurance policies, business licenses and ensure coverage meets business needs.

Qualifications:

-Proven experience as an office manager in the Retail field.

-Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

-Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online)

-Must be familiar with the process of filing/ maintaining business licenses, insurances, etc.

-Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

-Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

-Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or relevant field is preferred but not required. We value experience

-This is a no-nonsense position. The applicant must be able to take directives from the business owners, change tasks or course of action on short notice (as needed), meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude in the workplace.

Must have availability to work full time. Must have previous retail office management experience. Working at a retail store is not retail tax experience. We will provide training on some aspects however it is understood that you will have previous knowledge about taxes, booking, etc. Self motivated, Friendly and proficiency skills are a must.
