Maintain an excellent relationship with suppliers and vendor representatives; serve as a liaison between these individuals and company employees.
Make purchases of quantity items in relation to the best purchase price, discount, and terms. Negotiate prices and terms as appropriate and review supplier invoices for proper pricing and terms.
Assist in inventory cycle counting of spare parts and production supplies utilizing and reviewing all reports developed and printed for inventory control management and purchasing.
Assist in researching and resolving inventory discrepancies of spare parts and production supplies
Computer literate
reporting/tracking of purchases
Some administrative/office management duties as needed, such as greet visitors, receive and distribute incoming mail and packages, office supplies and kitchen supplies/upkeep.
