Local manufacturer seeks a full-time assembly/packer/cable crimper to join our global team. Perform routine assembly and packaging procedures, as well as some secondary operations. Basic math, measuring skills, basic web browser and printing knowledgeand attention to details are all qualities we seek; along with the ability to work well with others and carry on a positive rapport.
The successful candidate also comes with a proven attendance record, has reliable transportation, and does not mind minimal to moderate physical labor in a production style setting.

Warehouse:
Responsible for receiving product supplies, cables, cords, boxes, components, etc. and
Building product solutions for our stock. Product solution kits are usually built in a production
line of 10 or more units at a time to maximize efficiency.
Maintain organization of component stock shelves in both the warehouse and product stock
shelves.
Product Preparation:
Responsible for assisting in product build kits, prioritize kits needed for stock, testing all
incoming products, Build kits with all parts needed including soldering LED wires
for stock or orders. Utilize our outsourced solder facility or self for simple wire soldering if
needed.
Test and Quality Control seal all waterproof kit builds.
Inventory Updates:
Perform inventory count of all supplies needed to build products (units, patch cords, power
cords, power adapters, injectors, boxes, etc. Notify manager for any low stock items.
Leverage existing shared Apple Numbers spreadsheet for counts and update the web based ZoHo CRM
Product stock levels for team to see where in conversation with customers or quotes.
Shipping:
Responsible for all orders shipping with correct parts, manual QR code card in each
shipment, Correct ship label to the shipment, flagging orders as shipped in the CRM,
receiving UPS shipping supplies, tracking and requesting shipping supplies (boxes, sleeves,
printer paper, printer ink, pens, post it notes, staples, all product boxes, serial numbers,
power adapters, power cords). Have daily shipment ready for 3:45pm pickup by UPS.
For any other UPS / DHL / FedEx Drop offs to our local mail centers as needed.
RMA Testing:
Receive in all RMAs with electronic RMA form, print the form and document all serial
numbers and parts received, test each component and document test results for each
component, put results onto RMA form and then update into CRM RMA Case online.
Warehouse Shipping - Product Assembly/Packer/Soldering Duties and Responsibilities
Prepares work to be accomplished by looking at Trello Tasks for product builds parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
Positions parts and subassemblies
Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures
Maintains inventory of packaging supplies by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Able to lift 10-45 lbs.
Use and maintenance of hand tools, pneumatic tools and cutting tools.
Basic knowledge for crimping electrical wire and soldering for LED wires onto PCB is a major plus.
