We’re expanding our production team. We need someone who has the maturity to report to a co-owner while being exceptionally effective at making perfect food for our customers. The right person will become a long-term, valuable team member, growing with us. This is not intended to be a short-term or gig job.

We have a one-of-a-kind work environment, like bi-weekly on-the-clock massages and free snacks/drinks. We offer PTO and health insurance. Plus food for your pup or kitten at the end of the week.
This is a part-time position, 30hrs/wk. The current schedule is Monday 10a-1p, Tuesday-Thursday 8:30a-5:30p. Hours may vary slightly based on weekly work-load. Once you’re trained in production, if you want more hours and have the aptitude to grow in areas beyond production, we can add to your schedule.
$20/hr for the first eight weeks, the evaluation period. $21/hr upon successfully completing the 8wk evaluation period +$200 bonus. Review and raise at 6mos. Annual reviews thereafter. Many opportunities for advancement.
Payday is weekly (Fridays), direct deposit only, must have smart phone access for clock-in/out, AND a bank account.

Typical Day:
- Cut meat, feed grinder, accurately and quickly portion
- Hand debone various whole birds with knife
- Hand mix cold ground meat, measure ingredients
- Precisely follow recipes and instructions
- Carry cases of meat, some weigh 60lbs
- Skillfully operate commercial vacuum sealers, scales, and meat grinders
- Accurately take inventory and perform counts
- Learn and embrace our system and processes
- Help maintain the production flow for the day; smooth and efficient operations
Skills:
- Excellent knife skills and knife safety (very important!)
- Demonstrate expertise: attention to detail, insist on quality and perfection, accurately provide status
- Keep work-area spotless, neat, and orderly
- Work on your feet, standing for most or all of the shift
- Understand and practice raw meat handling, cross-contamination prevention
- Take constructive criticism and use it to improve
- Move fast, efficiently, multi-task, show initiative, work as a team
- Do simple math, counting, read tables/spreadsheets, follow instructions
- Be accurate and not EVER compromise on quality standards
- Lift, push, pull up to 60lbs; you need to be strong with endurance
- Provide accurate inventory counts - Read, write, speak English (Spanish s a plus)
- Be on time and dependable

- Apple Mac (Pages and Numbers) and/or spreadsheet knowledge
