The assemblers build the equipment from start to finish, learning various skills throughout the process. EDIC Job Description
Job Title : Production Assembler
Hours : 6:00AM – 2:30PM
Breaks : 8:30 AM – 8:45 AM & 1:30 PM – 1:40 PM
Lunch : 11:30 AM – 12:00 AM
Job Functions:
1. Complete production schedule daily according to training and bill of materials
2. Efficient and thorough communication with production manager and stockroom
3. Maintain a high level of quality and workmanship
4. Thoroughly clean and organize production area before end of day
5. Put small parts bins that will be needed for the next day’s production in the stockroom refill racks
6. Properly categorize, tag, and store all defective and damaged items in their designated bins
7. Maintain parts bins on the production line in an organized and clean manner
8. Repair machines that have come back from quality control due to workmanship error
9. Miscellaneous projects and tasks
Physical Requirements:
1. Must be able to lift 75lbs
2. Must be in good general physical condition and able to walk, stand, twist, bend, and kneel on a daily basis.
3. Must be able to push and pull up to 75lbs on a daily basis
Other requirements:
1. Must be a US citizen or legally able to work in the United States and have all current paperwork
2. Must be dependable person who is good at multi-tasking, detail oriented, and can work as part of a team
3. Must be able to work M-F 6:00AM to 2:30PM and be flexible to work overtime or Saturday when required
4. Must be able to complete work within time limits
5. Spanish speaking a plus, but not required
