Title: AOI Operator

Location: Henderson, NV

Role and Responsibilities:

As an AOI Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient production of electronic components by operating and maintaining Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) machines. Your responsibilities will include performing quality inspections, setting up inspection profiles, and utilizing various equipment such as X-ray machines, selective solder machines, aqueous washers, and stencil cleaners.

Essential Functions:

Operate and maintain AOI machines, including setting up inspection profiles.

Operate X-ray equipment, selective solder machine, aqueous washer, and stencil cleaner.

Perform quality inspections to ensure adherence to IPC Workmanship Standards.

Interpret engineering drawings and documentation.

Maintain a strong attention to detail and quality orientation.

Communicate effectively and problem-solve as needed.

Work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience operating AOI machines in a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of component types and packaging (e.g., BGA, SOICS, RES/CAP packages).

Experience with IPC Workmanship Standards.

Strong attention to detail and quality orientation.

Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands:

Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required when working on the manufacturing floor including eye, ear, and foot protection.

Walk, reach with hands and arms overhead, above shoulder, and horizontally.

Ability to lean forward and twist in setting up and loading machines.

Ability to handle and lift objects weighing up to 25 lbs. alone; ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs. in a two-person lift.

Walk up and down flights of stairs.
