Discount Print USA is now hiring a Pre-Press Technician to create and set up print ready art files for vendor outsourcing. Room for fast advancement
The purpose of this job is to provide customers with a service that assures the processed files are print ready for our vendors. This involves checking customer's files on a wide variety of issues, correcting and communicating with customers in order to get correct files over to the printer. Must have experience in the printing industry.
General responsibilities include the following:
Prioritizing time sensitive orders.
Resolving problems in a timely manner.
Determining the product, size and arrangements of illustrative material.
Checking against templates to assure correct layout.
Check original files and prepare them to be print ready.
Required Skills:
Knowledge of Adobe acrobat, photoshop and illustrator and in-design.
Detail-oriented, organized with strong ability to follow tasks through to completion.
Work effectively with different types of files and products.
Intermediate computer, keyboard and 10 key skills.
We will train you on how to do price quotes for our customers.
