The Collision center is a family owned and operated Auto Body Shop looking for an experienced body shop estimator and manager. This role involves managing repairs, coordinating with technicians, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining workflow efficiency
Responsibilities:
Shop Management
Supervise and lead a team of body techs, painters, and detailers
Schedule work efficiently to ensure timely repairs and quality control
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized shop environment
Manage parts ordering, inventory, vendor relationships, and deliveries
Coordinate with the office team for smooth billing and communication
Estimating & Customer Service
Write accurate damage estimates using CCC ONE (or relevant software)
Inspect vehicles and identify repair needs, supplement damage, and hidden issues
Work directly with customers to explain repair needs and timelines
Communicate and negotiate with insurance adjusters to ensure fair payouts
Update customers regularly throughout the repair process
Perform final quality inspections before vehicle delivery
Qualifications:
5+ years experience in a body shop, with at least 2 years in a management or lead estimator role
Strong knowledge of collision repair processes, parts, and paint procedures
Proficiency with CCC ONE, Mitchell, or other estimating software
Experience working with major insurance carriers and DRPs is a plus
Exceptional organizational, leadership, and time management skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus but not required
