Night Shift Commercial Kitchen Cleaning Crew
Location: Las Vegas, NV 89101
Compensation:
Supervisors (1–2 openings): Starts at $18-19/hour
Kitchen Cleaning or Floor Care Staff (3–5 openings): Starts at $17/hour
Note: All positions are subject to a 90-day probationary period.
Schedule
11:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
Strip, buff, and wax tile and hard surface floors
Degrease kitchen and dining floors using commercial-grade chemicals
Scrub and polish baseboards, handrails, and furniture legs
Clean and polish floor drains and large drain grates
Vacuum carpeted areas
Maintain floors inside walk-in coolers and dry storage areas
Conduct scheduled deep cleanings of tile grout, floor wax, and finishes
Perform high dusting and floor area detailing (vents, wood rafters, ledges)
Clean ovens, stoves, grills, fryers, and flat tops
Degrease and sanitize exhaust hoods and screens
Polish stainless steel surfaces: walls, appliances, sinks
Sanitize hand sinks, dish machines, and 3-compartment sinks
Deep clean behind, under, and around movable equipment
Clean drains, grease traps, and trash areas
Sanitize kitchen countertops and high-touch surfaces
Weekly/monthly deep clean of ovens, faucet descale, and drain systems
Qualifications for Kitchen Cleaning or Floor Care Staff:
Resume required
3–5 years experience in kitchen cleaning:
Grill, oven, hood, and fryer cleaning
Commercial kitchen sanitation
Drain and grease trap cleaning
If no experience in kitchen cleaning, at least 3-5 years experience in floor care cleaning:
Floor stripping, buffing, and waxing
Heavy-duty degreasing and sanitizing
Commercial chemical use and safety
Familiarity with food-safe chemicals and cleaning equipment
Ability to lift, bend, and perform deep cleans overnight
Reliability, detail-oriented, and able to work unsupervised
Overnight shift reliability and teamwork
Qualifications for Supervisor:
Minimum 5 years of kitchen cleaning experience
Minimum 5 years of floor care experience (including stripping/waxing)
Strong leadership and team supervision skills
Highly organized and dependable
Proficient in using food-safe chemicals and commercial cleaning equipment
Able to lift, bend, and perform deep cleaning tasks throughout the shift
Must complete checklist and quality checks before shift ends
