The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of the property and assisting the Maintenance Supervisor (if applicable) with their responsibilities. This includes the ability to maintain the exterior of the buildings and parking lot, also to be able to inspect the grounds daily and collect any refuse as necessary to maintain a safe and sanitary living environment for residents and staff. The Technician must be able to install, service, repair and or replace the following items in a responsible and professional manner:
Vinyl and floor covering
Wall molding & minor drywall damages
Caulking
Countertops and cabinets
Window screens and blinds
Interior and exterior doors
Electrical circuits, receptacles, breakers, switches and fuses
Light fixtures
Appliances such as stoves, refrigerators, toilets, sinks, vanities and disposals
Sub flooring
Removing bulk trash (including appliances)
Clearing drains and sewer lines
HVAC trouble shooting / repair
