Hi, we have something special going on. We have a twist-to-connect solar hybrid 12,000 BTU mini split heat pump. It's called 'Airspool.' View airspool.com and shop.airspool.com We take a 'normal' solar hybrid unit (which actually is quite extraordinarythis sucker will run by just plugging solar panels directly into the outdoor unit), and we make it twist-to-connect for the refrigerant line set, and the communications control wires, and then we pre-wire a power cord to the unit. Check out this video, which has been seen over 1.5 million times and has helped our business grow.

So, yes, your role is to help build out and create the Quick 'n' Easy. We pay daily based on your unit output. We're casual and easygoing (for dress, break times, no stress, friendly). We're hardnosed when it comes to following instructions, communicating with us, and quality work. You're paid on your pace, so if you're a quick worker, this is where you can earn more money. And, you're
So, rate your abilities for these basic installer skills
1. How much experience do you have with a cordless drill and other hand tools? Elaborate.
2. Are you okay with working while standing for 8 hours/day? Have you ever had a similar 'always on your feet' job? Elaborate.
3. Are you okay with moving an 85 lb. outdoor unit onto a service cart (note: the move is basically horizontal from a hydraulic lift cart to a service cart, but at times, we'll need your help to lift the units from ground level to the back door of a UPS truck (so, a vertical lift). So, yes, this requires some strength. If you can't do this, but have the other skills, we can help with the vertical lifting part. Elaborate on any positions you've had in the past which required lifting.
4. Have you ever worked in a factory or done assembly line work, which can be very repetitive? Are you okay with repetitive work? Elaborate. And, yes, there is room for advancement. See below.
5. Do you have reliable transportation that will allow you to show up when you commit to showing up? We are flexible for hours worked, but we're not flexible with folks showing up consistently later than the time they committed to show up. Reliability is key to us (and any employer, obviously).
These are not required. The first one will allow you to get up to speed more quickly, but we'll train you in this. We can also train you on the second one, but the second one will not initially be your primary role
1. Have you ever used a vacuum pump and gauges to set up a mini-split or larger split air conditioner?
2. Have you ever brazed copper tubing? Are you familiar with Oxy-Acetylene torches?
So, respond with why you're the one for this role. We'll be hiring a few folks. You'll be paid as a subcontractor, so confirm you are familiar with that and comfortable with it.
Thanks,
Dave
