2. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
2.1 This position must be punctual, a self-starter and be able to prioritize tasks, manage time very well and meet scheduled dates as assigned per project.
2.2 Possesses the ability to use and maintain all tools related to the construction repairs, including but not limited to, power tools, screw gun, hammers, drills, screw drivers, pliers, wrenches, chisels, chords, nail guns, compressors, shop vacuum, etc.
2.3 Ability to perform general construction labor, including but not limited to, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, minor cabinetry, landscaping, painting and drywall, fencing, gates and other areas of general remodeling.
2.4 Ability to troubleshoot problems to determine the most cost effective and beneficial solutions for the assigned task.
2.5 General knowledge of the Company’s industries, technologies, products and local suppliers.
2.6 Ability to measure accurately up to 1/16 of an inch.
2.7 Ability to install products on site per plan and product specifications.
2.8 Ability to work quickly, correctly, cleanly and effectively.
2.9 Ability to effectively communicate, in English, both verbally and in writing as the majority of customers speak this language.
2.10 Ability to do routine math calculations to include calculation of dimensions, lengths and areas.
2.11 Actively gains and maintains knowledge of the Company’s industry, techniques, service technologies and job materials.
2.12 Must be computer and smart phone literate and be able to use Microsoft Office applications such as email and smart phone apps.
2.13 Must have necessary and reliable transportation to and from assigned job sites.
