Qualifications:

a. Qualified candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in Human Resources.

b. Must be adept at problem-solving, including being able to identify issues and resolve programs in a timely manner

c. Must possess strong interpersonal skills

d. Must be able to communicate clearly, both written and orally, as to communicate with employees, members of the HR management team, and in group presentations and meetings

e. Must be able to effectively read and interpret information, present numerical data in a resourceful manner, and skillfully gather and analyze information

f. Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities as to use time efficiently

g. Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality

h. Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and must be able to improve performance through management feedback

i. Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.

Specific duties include but not limited:

1. Answering employee questions.

2. Processing incoming mail and assist with or prepare correspondence.

3. Creating and distributing documents.

4. Providing customer service to organization employees.

5. Serving as a point of contact with benefit vendors/administrators.

6. Maintains employee information by entering and updating employment and status-change data.

7. Setting appointments and arranging meetings.

8. Maintaining calendars of HR management team.

9. Compiling reports and preparing spreadsheets.

10. Orients new employees by providing orientation information packets; reviewing company policies; gathering withholding and other payroll information; explaining and obtaining signatures for benefit programs.

11. Creating new employee personnel files and file papers and documents into appropriate employee files.

12. Maintaining employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential.

13. Accomplishes human resources department and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

14. Updating HRIS database records and process paperwork for new hires, terminations and other status changes. Reconcile the benefits statements.

15. Ensuring background and reference checks are completed.

16. Participating in recruitment efforts.

17. Assist with HR Compliance Training.

18. Answering payroll questions.

19. Assists Human Resources Manager with various research projects and/or special projects.

20. Perform all other job requests needed or assigned by management.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
