Outreach MORE Team Project (City of Las Vegas)
The Las Vegas Rescue Mission (LVRM) is looking for Outreach Representatives to join our team. These are full-time positions, grant funded by the City of Las Vegas, with a current contract for 1 year. The City is partnering with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) City of Las Vegas Marshals and various non-profit agencies to create five (5) multi-agency homeless outreach teams (The MORE Project) to proactively engage the homeless population throughout the City. Each of the five (5) teams will work with law enforcement officers working ten (10) hour shifts, four (4) days a week, to provide combined coverage from Monday through Sunday.
Members will work four (4) days a week, 10-hour shifts, for a maximum of 8-hours on the street, bringing the resources, programs, and contacts of their agencies to homeless individuals living on the street. A maximum of two (2) hours a day may then be spent by MORE team members off the street, doing administrative or other Company (LVRM) work.
