Position Overview:
We seek a highly motivated and responsible individual to join our team as a Medical Courier. The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient, proactive, and accountable, capable of working independently to deliver crucial medications efficiently. This position requires reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding the highest service standards. This is a chance to be your own boss with limited micromanagement!
Responsibilities:
Safely transport patient medication to homes, businesses, and other locations as required.
Follow established routes and schedules while also adapting to changes and unforeseen circumstances as needed.
Verify the accuracy of transported items, ensuring proper handling and storage according to established protocols.
Communicate effectively with patients, supervisors, and other team members to provide updates on delivery status and address any issues or concerns.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles, ensuring they are properly maintained and equipped for safe operation.
Adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines governing the transportation of medical materials, including compliance with HIPAA and other privacy laws.
This is a 1099 position, meaning YOU pay for fuel and expenses
This pays $3 per stop, with most drivers averaging 30-40 stops a day
You should average $90-$100 per day depending on the number of stops you take
I'm looking for flexibility! You will be routed in an area and not all over the valley although additional stops may not be in your area.
I'm also looking for On-demand drivers. This person(s) would ONLY pick up stat orders and deliver them directly after pickup. This can range from 6 to 12 stats a day and can vary. Some stats come in throughout the day, and there is also a pickup at 12:30 PM every day for on-demand orders.
I'm also looking for a driver to complete a Pahrump route. This would pay better, as well as give you the chance to have a peaceful commute to start your day. You would pick up your stops here in town and drive to Pahrump and complete them. You are finished with your day after that unless you want to pick up additional work.
This position is meant to supplement income, not be the sole source of income!
