An outpatient medical practice is in search of a medical biller with eligibility and insurance verification understanding and ability and knowledge of the entire revenue cycle. The biller must have a minimum of 1.5 years of experience, be accurate, efficient, able to work independently and take responsibility and ownership of your work, multitask as needed, be tenacious, hardworking, and a team player.
Must have a very good working knowledge of Nevada insurances and must know ICD10 and CPT coding.
Medical billing certification and previous experience are a plus.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, insurance eligibility/verification/benefits, charge entry, payment posting, working denials in a timely fashion, working accounts receivable, navigating and using constructively the insurance websites, the clearinghouse, and the electronic medical records system.
