Dental Knowledge and at least 2 years of experience in the field is required,
Spanish speaking is a Plus.
Dental Assistant Responsibilities; include but not limited to
- Providing outstanding customer service for patients
- Chair side assisting the Doctor with all dental procedures
- Help Breaking down Ops/ setting up for all types of procedures
- Sterilizing Instruments
- Taking X-rays and Impressions with different impression material
- Charting and noting all related diagnosis or procedures information
- Performing Efficiently to help maintain patient flow and Doctor schedule
- Verifying and Documenting properly patient health history and treatment
- Assisting in Polishing, flossing, crown preps, Root canals, and any other office duty as requested or needed
- Follow safety policies, infection control policies and be HIPAA compliant
- Know dental terminology to transcribe doctor diagnosis and notes in patient's chart
- Follow company policies and rules
- Have Ability to Multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
Front Office/ Tx coordnator Responsibilities include but not limited to
- Greeting Patients and checking them in
- Answering phone calls
- Setting up patients files
- Scheduling Patients
- Confirming Appts
- Verifying Insurance eligibility and breaking down coverage
- Treatment Planning correctly according to Plans downgrades and coverage
- Scanning, Filing, Collecting Copays and Due Balances
- Submitting Specialty Referrals and Pre Authorizations
- Working and following up on unpaid claims
- and any other needed task to Insure Productivity and Schedule flow
