We are looking for a new team member who is reliable, honest, and thoughtful to help care for our patients in the Las Vegas community. This position will work closely with the Field Supervisor and other support staff to ensure clients receive the best possible experience and care. This is a hourly (non-exempt) caregiver position to assist patients in their home. Over the years, PHS has established a diverse client base offering an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a wide variety of patient care.

What you'll do

Travel to patient's place of care

Follow a patient’s care plan and document visits appropriately

Observe, report, and communicate any changes in the client's condition

Assist with personal care (hygiene, dressing, etc.)

Help clients with the self-administration of medications

Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and assist with meal preparation

Transport client to appointments and daily errands (varies by client)

It is understood that not all responsibilities are listed in this offer and your immediate supervisor may add responsibilities based on fieldwork demand, compliance modifications, staff needs, etc.

Pre-Employment Requirements

Be at least 21 years old

2 Part TB test

Wellness Check / Physical

Valid Driver License and Auto Insurance

CPR/AED

Background check - fingerprinting (obtained upon hire)

Strong Communication Skills

Strong desire to learn and grow

Ability to travel to multiple client locations within the greater Las Vegas area

Ability to use a smart device to document client visits as required by agency

Ability to provide a high level of care as determined by in-person skills assessments

Preferred Qualifications

1-5 years of relevant in-home care or skilled facility experience or equivalent

Bilingual a plus
