About our Clinical Internship: Clinical Interns at NVMHA will be able to learn essential skills required to diagnose and treat mental health and substance use disorders. Being part of a dynamic group practice exposes interns to diverse therapeutic approaches and supportive resources. Under the direct supervision of an AASECT certified sex therapist, interns also have the unique opportunity to gain insight and expertise in the specialized field of sexual health. Notably, interns explore various career paths during their internship, including opportunities to become a NVMHA associate upon licensure or establishing their own private practice in the future.
