Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Server/Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to food safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure that all orders are complete and presented correctly.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and customers to facilitate smooth service.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety protocols.
- Help set up and break down dining areas as needed for events or busy service periods.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest needs promptly.
- Familiarize yourself with the menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests with inquiries.
- Utilize Toast POS system for order tracking and communication with the kitchen staff.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is a plus.
- Experience using POS systems, particularly Toast, is beneficial.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
